2013 Summer Courses at STA

• Want more flexibility when scheduling specific courses or electives?
• Need to fulfill a required graduation credit?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions, we have a solution for you!

St. Teresa’s Academy is offering a limited selection of credit courses over the summer to incoming freshmen (Class of 2017) and upperclassmen. These optional courses allow students to free up busy academic schedules during the regular school day and offer greater flexibility for scheduling specific courses and/or broadening elective options. STA’s summer program is especially helpful to students with limited time for homework due to busy athletic, fine arts or work schedules. Each course grants one half (.5) credit and costs $350/course.

Incoming Freshman Course Options:

1. Technology and Media Literacy (Instructor:  Kayla Leatherman)
2. General Physical Education and Health (Instructor:  Abbie Lane)
3. Introduction to Guitar (Instructor: Greg Monsma)
4. Computer Illustration & Animation (Instructor: Jillian Hamilton)

Sophomore/Junior/Senior Course Options:

1. Speech I (Instructor:  Dianne Hirner)
2. Personal Finance (Instructor: Kayla Leatherman)
3. Introduction to Guitar (Instructor: Greg Monsma)
4. Computer Illustration & Animation (Instructor: Jillian Hamilton)
5. Personal Fitness (Instructor: Abbie Lane)

Enrollment for summer courses is closed. All students enrolled in summer courses will receive a confirmation letter in May with the details regarding their course.
