St. Teresa’s Academy - College Prep for Young Women Since 1866

College-Prep Curriculum

The school’s curriculum is innovative, rigorous and proudly traditional. It is the expectation all students are university/college-bound.

Students choose from a broad-based curriculum with over 100 course selections available, ranging from calculus, chemistry and foreign language to graphic design, forensics, fibers or dance. The individualized modular flexible scheduling, modeled after colleges and universities better prepares the Academy graduates.

The school traditionally scores above the national average on the ACT, and consistently has named National Merit Scholars. Each year a majority of St. Teresa’s graduates receive merit-based scholarships to many of the most prestigious institutions of higher learning.

Course work is challenging and rigorous. It is common for junior and senior students to be taking Advanced Placement and/or college credit courses. At St. Teresa’s Academy being smart and hard working is the rule, not the exception.
