Scholarship Opportunities for Incoming Freshmen
St. Teresa’s Academy provides more than $400,000.00 annually in scholarships and financial aid. Incoming freshman may be awarded academic scholarships based on their performance on the High School Placement Test (HSPT) given in January. Scholarships are awarded to students who take the HSPT on our campus and they are determined by the STA administration.
Presidential Scholarships
Presidential Scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen who score 99% on the HSPT. These $1,500.00 scholarships are applied to freshman year tuition.
Alumnae Scholarships
Alumnae Scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen who score between 95-98% on the HSPT. These $750.00 scholarships are applied to freshman year tuition.
Windmoor Scholarships
Windmoor Scholarships are awarded to freshmen who score between 90-94% on the HSPT. These $400 scholarships cover the comprehensive fee for freshman year.
Math Scholarships
Math Scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen enrolled in our 8th grade Accelerated Algebra I class who have an "A" or 'B" average and who take the High School Placement Test at St. Teresa's Academy. These $500.00 scholarships are applied to freshman year tuition.
Foley Family Scholarship
This $500.00 scholarship determined by the Administration is awarded to one outstanding math student and is applied to freshman year tuition.
Wilson/Hvass Scholarship
This $1,000.00 scholarship is awarded to an outstanding science student and is applied to freshman year tuition.
McDonald-Campbell Family Scholarship
This $1,000.00 scholarship is awarded to an academically talented Hispanic student and is applied to freshman year tuition.
