STATE RESULTS:
CROSS COUNTRY TEAM BRINGS HOME 4TH PLACE
The cross country team finished 4th out of 16 teams in the Missouri Class 4 State Championship on November 7. The girls battled the heat as well as the very challenging hills of the Oak Hills Golf Course in Jefferson City. Congratulations to Caroline Thompson (39th place), Lane Maguire (50th), Kelly O’Byrne (61st), Kathleen Hough (62nd), Courtney Coppinger (67th), Sarah Vickery (79th), and Lane Schulte (108th). STA’s top five scoring runners finished within a span of only 35 seconds. Caroline Thompson qualified for the Missouri state meet at the Oak Hills Golf Course in Jefferson City. Caroline finished in 33rd place, finishing with a time of 20:01 on the grueling 3.1 mile course.
