The College-Prep Experience
The Academy student is college-bound. The school's curriculum is rigorous, proudly traditional and innovative. Students choose from a broad-based curriculum ranging from calculus and chemistry to language, graphic design and theater. The individualized modular scheduling, modeled after colleges and universities, and one of the smallest student-to-teacher ratios in the city prepare our Academy women for their college experience.
It is no accident that St. Teresa's students are routinely acknowledged as National Merit Scholars and that each year our graduates are awarded merit-based scholarships to many of the most prestigious institutions of higher learning. In an age where female students lag academically behind their male counterparts, St. Teresa's prides itself on its accelerated departments of English, science, mathematics, history and advanced technology.
Students may qualify for accelerated, honors, Advanced Placement (AP) and college credit courses, earning up to 30 hours of college credit.
