In-coming Freshman Scholarships

Presidential Scholarships

Presidential Scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen who score 99% on the STS High School Placement Test (HSPT). These $1,500.00 scholarships are applied to freshman year tuition.

Alumnae Scholarships
Alumnae Scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen who score between 95-98% on the HSPT. These $750.00 scholarships are applied to freshman year tuition.

Windmoor Scholarships
Windmoor Scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen who score between 90-94% on the HSPT. These $325.00 scholarships cover the comprehensive fee for freshman year.

Math Scholarships
Math Scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen enrolled in our 8th grade Accelerated Alegebra I class who have an “A” or “B” average and who take the High School Placement Test at St. Teresa’s Academy. These $500.00 scholarships are applied to freshman year tuition.

The Donald Foley Family Scholarship
This $500 scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman who is considered outstanding in science or math, based on their High School Placement Test score.

The Janet E. Bax Scholarship
This $2,000 scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman from St. Elizabeth School.

Marion Huber Haake Scholarship
The $2,500 four-year consecutive scholarship is awarded to an incoming Catholic freshman who remains a student in good standing (grade point average between a 2.8 and 3.4) and who also demonstrates financial need, leadership and service.

Elizabeth H. Kirk Family Scholarship
This $1,000+ scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman with financial need.

The Star Scholarship Fund
A $200,000 fund that was jointly funded by Sisters of St. Joseph, Tom and Jean McDonnell, the Forster Powers Foundation, alumna Betty Ann Stanton and St. Teresa’s Academy. Every four years, interest from this fund will be used to provide one in-coming freshman student a full, four-year scholarship.

Wilson Hvass Scholarship
This $1,000 scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman who is outstanding in science.
