Commitment to Diversity
Celebrating the things that make us different is important to our faculty and students. Knowing that what makes us different unites us has led to changes in The Academy’s new 2008-2011 strategic plan. Supported by an appointed sub-committee of the board of directors, one of the plan’s goal is to enhance our commitment to a diverse student body and faculty.
The St. Teresa's community embraces a culturally, economically, ethnically and racially diverse student body. Community members bring diverse backgrounds and experiences that help develop the understanding and appreciation of others that are vital in today's world.
St. Teresa’s has a responsibility to prepare young women to enter a world of diversity. An excellent way to do so is to expose students to diverse backgrounds and opinions.
